- Recreational vessels on international voyages are still not allowed in French/New Caledonian territorial waters.
- Permission to stop in transit for supplies or fuel can be obtained from Noumea Yacht Services.
- Apply at least one week in advance.
- The yacht will only be permitted to enter and depart Noumea. The crew will not be allowed to disembark and the vessel must anchor in a quarantine anchorage except when taking on fuel.
- Noumea Yacht Services can arrange for official permission to make the stopover and organize purchase and delivery of supplies and fuel.
