Australian shipyard, Echo Yachts, has launched its much anticipated 46-metre shadow vessel at its facilities in Western Australia’s Henderson Marine Precinct near Perth. Designed by LOMOcean in New Zealand, the multi-hull vessel is intended to be used as a support vessel for the 84-metre trimaran superyacht currently under construction at the yard.
Named Charley, the vessel is designed to carry a fleet of 11 watercraft including a custom 12-metre catamaran. Advanced construction processes have proven to deliver high-quality molds in a much shorter build time to produce the largest ever vacuum-infused vessel built in Australia. Since her launch, Charley has conducted a series of successful sea trials and is now ready to be handed over to her owner.
More details about the vessel to follow soon.
