Tourism is now slowly recovering after the military junta lifted curfew in more provinces where the situation has turned normal and businesses are back running.
Until today the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has lifted curfew in 32 provinces.
Thai Hotel Association (THA) president Surapong Techaruvichit said after curfew was lifted in now 32 provinces, there was positive sign of response from both local and foreign tourists but it needed time for full recovery.
He expected hotel occupancy rates to go up to 35-40% this month, though it is 15% decline when compared with 50-60% in normal time.
