Indonesia busts illegal wildlife trafficking ring, releases captive Whale Sharks
Indonesian authorities just raided a major supplier of illegal marine megafauna in the remote Indonesian province of Maluku, discovering two illegally captured whale sharks which they released back into the wild. But there may be many more such cases in the Coral Triangle, as ocean theme parks in China and parts of Southeast Asia increase and seek out unique species to attract visitors.
